Includes the 14 cells where the tramps were locked up for the night, the ablutions room, the old day room and work yard have all been refurbished to give a portrayal of the grim treatment of vagrants 100 years ago. The Hard Times Gallery depicts the harsh conditions of the poor in Victorian times. In a large day room, added in the 1920s and in the cells are wall displays showing conditions in Yorkshire's Work.
